Story
This year, I’m running my first ever 10K at the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend and I am raising funds for the Canadian Breast Cancer Network.
My mom went through breast cancer in 2022, and witnessing that experience firsthand changed me forever. I saw the fear, uncertainty, and emotional weight that cancer places not only on the person diagnosed, but on the entire family surrounding them.
I am incredibly grateful that she is ok now and received the care she needed. But I know that many women are navigating this journey right now.
As a naturopathic doctor, I also work with women whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer every day. Breast cancer touches so many families in ways people often do not fully see from the outside. This is why I chose this charity to run for - to support the education and resources for Canadians affected by breast cancer and to give back, to a cause that has personally impacted my family and so many patients and women around me.
If you are able to contribute, I would be truly grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, helps make a meaningful difference for individuals and families facing breast cancer.
Thank you for supporting me, this run, and this important cause. ❤️
