We won't give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect, but we need your help too. Join the TCS London Marathon 2025 and help us to ensure that no one has to face a mental health problem alone.

Story

Running the London Marathon has been on my bucket list for a long time and I feel absolutely thrilled, privileged and grateful to be able to run it for Mind!

I feel very passionate about running in aid of Mind as I have lived and still live with my own mental health challenges. I have been fortunate enough to find ways to navigate them, one of them being exercise, whether it is ultra walking or running.

But sadly, I have lost people who were very close to my heart, through suicide as they did not have the support and help that they needed at the time.

Mental health affects each and everyone of us with 1 in 4 adults experiencing struggles with their mental health at some point in their life time. So many people do not get the help they need as mental health or mental (ill) health is still far too stigmatised in our society.

I am running the TCS London Marathon for Mind to help raise awareness and money to support the work this amazing charity does every single day.

Please sponsor me so that we can break down barriers and stigmas together!

When you're experiencing a mental health problem, supportive and reliable information can change your life. That's what we do. We empower people to understand their condition and the choices available to them through the following:

-Our Infoline, which offers callers confidential help for the price of a local call.

-Our Legal Line, which provides information on mental health related law to the public, service users, family members/carers, mental health professionals and mental health advocates.

-Our award-winning information, certified by the PIF Tick.

"Mind was such an invaluable source of information. I can't put into words how helpful they were for both of us..."
