Story
On 6th April 2025, I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon to raise funds for the charity Leukaemia Care.
Many of you will know that my dear mum suffered with leukaemia for the last 3 years of her life. When she died in October, I was determined to run another half marathon to raise more money for Leukaemia Care, this time in her memory.
This event is not just a race; it is an opportunity to stand in solidarity with those battling blood cancer and to advocate for their needs. Every step I take will be a reminder of mum’s strength and resilience.
The charity is deeply grateful for any support they receive. They are dedicated to ensuring that anyone affected by blood cancer receives the right information, advice, and support. Each year, around 34,000 people in the UK face the daunting challenge of a blood cancer diagnosis. They understand the emotional and physical toll this can take on individuals and their families.
I am aiming to raise £500 to help provide essential resources and support for patients and their families during their journey. Your generous contributions will make a significant difference in ensuring that no one has to face blood cancer alone. Together, we can bring hope and healing to those who need it most.
Thank you for your support!
