Story
Hello, again, friends. It's time to put on the red shirts (and pumps) again for the Cornerstone Domestic Violence Prevention Centre. On Saturday, October 14, on the main drag in Cobourg.
I'll be walking again (albeit in beribboned running shoes that like aged feet) in support of Cornerstone's 16th annual Walk a Mile event.
It's a fundraiser with purpose. Unfortunately, Northumberland County families now need Cornerstone's shelter and services for women and children more than ever.
Those red heels clacking on pavement will raise money for a worthy cause, and also make a public statement about the domestic violence devil in our midst.
