Story
On November 1, 2026, I will take on the New York City Marathon 2026 and run 26.2 miles with purpose, heart, and hope. This will be my third NYC Marathon, and with each step, I am reminded that this journey is about much more than crossing a finish line. It is about standing with the cancer and power wheelchair communities, raising awareness, and supporting families who need it most.
I am proud to be fundraising for the NYC Marathon Team 2026, with a goal of $5,000. Every donation will help provide meaningful support for families affected by cancer, contribute to cancer research and scholarships, and help fund pediatric wheelchair donations for children in need.
Fun kicker this year: as my running endurance has improved substantially since my first marathon, I am committing to donating $100 myself for every minute above 3 hours I run this year. That’s right - if I bonk and run 3:20, that will be $2,000 I will be donating!
Your support can make a real difference. Please consider donating today and helping me turn this marathon into a powerful force for good. Together, we can create a lasting impact for families and communities who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported. Thank you for your generosity and for being part of this journey.
