I am joining forces with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana to ask YOU to become a champion for our kids!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana provides safe and enriching environments for young people after school, offering programs focused on academic success, character and leadership development, and healthy lifestyles. Serving over 8,000 youth annually throughout their 10 Clubs in Lake and Porter Counties, they are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.

As a Clubhouse Hero during the 2025 Clubhouse Hero Challenge from May 25 to June 8, I am competing against other local leaders to see who can raise the most funds to support bright futures for our region’s youth. If I win, I will deliver on a special promise for the kids at one local Club. Your contribution gives our region’s children the tools to become the superheroes of their own stories.

A bit about me...

I am proud to be born and raised in Valparaiso by a loving, hard-working family that instilled in me the values of dedication, service, and community. Growing up, I stayed active through sports, school clubs, and local programs that helped shape who I am today. After graduating from Valparaiso High School in 2005, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Communication with a focus in Public Relations and Speech from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, followed by a Paralegal Studies certification from Loyola University in Chicago. My passion for people and storytelling led me to launch Suore Events, a company focused on personal and professional event consulting, where I’ve had the honor of coordinating hundreds of meaningful events for incredible clients and causes I care deeply about.

In 2011, I took a leap into a new chapter as the owner and operator of Modern Edge, an erosion control and landscaping company certified as a WBE/DBE in both Indiana and Illinois. We proudly partner with the Laborers Union and work on impactful projects across the region. My greatest passions are my amazing husband and beautiful three-year-old daughter, my work, and giving back to the community that has given me so much. I am excited to be a Clubhouse Hero for a second year in a row. I’m committed to using my time, talents, and voice to support causes that make Valparaiso—and Northwest Indiana—stronger for future generations.
