Lila: Most of my friends don't go to camp because they say they would rather go on trips. For me, I feel so fortunate to be able to be apart of a camp community. As much fun as the activities are, to me camp is more than that. Camp is an experience like no other. It really shapes people into who they are today. I believe I would be a different person without these past 5 summers. The things that just 6 weeks can do to a person is amazing. You make friends that turn into family and unforgettable memories. It truly breaks my heart to hear that some kids aren't able to experience this.

Sam: Five years ago was my first summer at camp. The six weeks I spend each year bring me new opportunities to grow, new friendships, and memories that I will cherish forever. Being at camp is an experience like no other. Every year, I wait ten months just to have two months at camp. It teaches you valuable life lessons, forms a community, and gives you a safe space where kids are able to be themselves and truly thrive. I think that everyone should be able to have the same opportunities, even if it is just once in their life. I feel so grateful to be able to come to camp every year, while some kids don't have that opportunity. I want to help these kids to be able to have the same experience of summer camp like I do.

Dylan: Camp has been my home for the past 4 summers. I have found more than just friends I have found my family. Everyday at camp we are reminded how much of a blessing it is to be there and it truly is. My friends and I are so fortunate to be able to have this experience and I want to spread that with as many children as I can. I have learned so many life lessons at camp such as, live life with no regrets, how to be a SPARK, and how much easier it is to be nice than mean. These are lessons that can be taught but not truly understood through any other way. Camp is a break from reality, and some kids really need that even if it’s just for a week or two. I hope to be able to support kids from low income communities as much as possible this year!
