Greetings from Speidel Gymnasium!

Elmira Men’s Basketball is looking forward to the 2023-2024 Soaring Forward campaign after a strong season, where they captured the most Empire 8 Conference games since the 2014-2015 season. This year, the Soaring Eagles return 11 players, nine of which started at least two games last season. The 2023 recruiting class features a 6 '5 transfer from RIT, a 6' 3 guard from New York’s Capital Region, and a 6 '9 forward from Denver, Colorado.

With an amazing season ahead of us, your gift to the Soaring Forward campaign will assist with gear, travel expenses, and a new critical project for 2024 - renovations to the men’s locker room. A project that hasn’t been completed in over 25 years! We hope to give it a much needed face lift to compete with our peer institutions. The goal is to raise $25,000 to add lockers, new flooring, fresh lighting, and professionally branded walls by the end of the upcoming summer. We will honor each donor who gives $1,500 or more with a nameplate on the new lockers.

The support we have received from alumni, family, and friends has been overwhelming over the past few years and we are excited to continue the upward trajectory of this program on and off the court.
