Story
Imagine hiking with a group of campers and counselors on a warm summer morning. Maybe Mount Cardigan. Or Mount Cube. Or Wrights Mountain. They pass towering trees, scramble over boulders and roots along the narrow path with the smell of warm pine needles heavy in the air. The sound of song and laughter echoes through the woods.
As they hike together each step brings them closer, not just to nature but to each other. Conversations that began with small talk flow into stories and shared adventure, and lifelong friendships are formed over trail lunches and miles hiked together.
It is a joy to watch magical moments like this happen to hundreds of kids each summer. As we look forward towards Giving Tuesday, it would be wonderful to raise money to make sure camp is affordable for all campers who want to experience a summer in Fairlee, Vermont. These programs are what the world and our younger generations need to thrive!
Join your Aloha friends, as we embark on a hike toward our goal of raising $100,000 in 30 days. The gifts you raise will provide campership support for families in 2025. Every $2,500 raised provides support to a family in need. And, some great exercise!
