Story

On 25th November 2024 my world was put upside down when my Dad unexpectedly passed away from having a stroke a few days before. I thought a running challenge would be a good way to try and raise some funds for this charity. Hopefully those fortunate to survive a stoke can benefit from the amazing work to rebuild a persons life. I will be running Sheffield half marathon in March, which will be a challenge in itself as it’s very hilly! For the month of March I will run 50 miles. Donate if you can to help keep me going on the cold, dark and probably wet runs!

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt. Our specialist support, research and campaigning are only possible with the courage and determination of the stroke community. With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives.
