Story

On April 6th, I’ll be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon in honour of two incredibly wonderful people.

In 1998, I lost my amazing mum to a brain tumour. She was my world, and not a day goes by that I don’t think of her. Now, over 25 years later, someone else I know—my friend of 25+ years—has been diagnosed with the same cruel disease. It’s heartbreaking, but it has only strengthened my determination to do something that truly makes a difference.

That’s why I’m running to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity—to fund life-saving research, improve treatments, and support those affected by this devastating illness. Brain tumours remain one of the biggest cancer killers, yet research is still hugely underfunded. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a cure.

Please, if you can, support me on this journey. Your generosity will not only honour my mum’s memory but also offer hope to my dear friend, her family and countless others facing this battle.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🤍❤️🖤
