Help Me Make a Difference: Running My 7th London Marathon for Save the Children

This year marks a special milestone for me — I’ll be running my 7th London Marathon, and I couldn’t be more excited to announce that I’m doing it for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart: Save the Children. Every year, I run to support a different charity, but this year’s choice feels particularly meaningful. I am honored to join the Save the Children team for the 2025 London Marathon, supporting their vital work in some of the most difficult and dangerous places in the world.

Save the Children is dedicated to providing life-saving help to vulnerable children, particularly those affected by conflict and displacement. What stands out to me is the incredible, ground-breaking work they do in war-torn areas, and in particular, their efforts in Gaza, Palestine. The children in Gaza face unimaginable hardship, from losing their homes to being separated from their families. Many are orphaned or displaced, living through trauma no child should ever experience. Save the Children works tirelessly to provide them with emergency relief, education, and the hope they so desperately need.

This cause has never felt more urgent. As we all know, the situation in Gaza is heartbreaking, and the children who are caught in the middle of this crisis are the most vulnerable of all. Save the Children provides essential services — from providing access to safe spaces for children to heal, to distributing food and medical supplies, and even offering education for those whose futures are uncertain. But they can’t do it alone. They need our help.

That’s why I’m running this marathon, not just for myself, but for these children who need a chance at a better life. I’m asking for your support — not just in cheering me on, but in helping to fund the life-changing work Save the Children is doing. Every single donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your generosity will directly help provide shelter, food, education, and emotional support to children who have lost everything.
