I'm raising money for the Canadian Cancer Society because I want my race to mean more than just crossing a finish line. While I’ve been fortunate not to have a close family member directly affected by cancer, I’ve seen its impact up close through close friends and loved ones. Their experiences have shown me how deeply cancer impacts lives, families, and communities. That awareness inspired me to do my part, however small, in supporting cancer research and care. By running the Tamarack Race Weekend Marathon and fundraising through the Desjardins Charity Challenge, I hope to contribute to meaningful progress in prevention, support, and, ultimately, a future without cancer.
