This Workout Wednesday, I’ll be on the treadmill until I raise $500!

The YMCA isn’t just where I work. It’s been my entire career. I wholeheartedly believe in what we do and the impact we make every single day in our community.

Through our Annual Campaign, we have:

Provided hundreds of children with swim lessons, teaching lifesaving water safety skills

Given over 600 weekend food bags to kids who otherwise wouldn’t have enough to eat

Created a safe, supportive place for children to go after school at our Youth Activity Center

And that’s just part of the story.

I see firsthand how the YMCA changes lives. I see the confidence kids gain when they learn to swim. I see the relief on parents’ faces knowing their child is safe after school. I see the difference a simple bag of food can make for a family.

Every dollar goes directly back into programs that strengthen our community and ensure no child or family is turned away because of inability to pay.
