EIA Bridge Build - 2024

Hi all!
This fall, I will be joining a mission to build a 250-foot long suspended bridge across the Río Tuyo Tuyo in Bolivia.
Tuyo Tuyo is a rural agricultural community divided by the Río Tuyo Tuyo. During the rainy season, water levels increase and the river becomes impassable for several months. As a result, community members are frequently isolated from essential services such as hospitals, schools, and markets. This isolation can also prevent individuals from accessing their neighbors or farms situated on the opposite bank of the river.
EIA’s mission is to empower global volunteers and local communities to work together and build sustainable engineering projects. Since 2006, thousands of volunteers from 40+ universities and companies across the globe have designed and built 125+ footbridges alongside rural communities in 12 countries, effectively connecting over 150,000 previously isolated people to essential resources.
Help me create a world where isolation, history, and geography don't dictate access to the essential infrastructure that enables health, education, and safety for all. Help me build this bridge for the community of Tuyo Tuyo. Please consider joining our "Bridge Builder Family" by making a financial contribution today!
