Many of you know about the incredible work provided by Her Justice and their team of pro bono attorneys. I'm so grateful to have had your support at countless events over the past decade that were hosted by Her Justice including prior Red Parties, Stair Climbs and Benefits.

I'm proud to support the Her Justice 2024 Shift The Power Campaign, a celebration of new beginnings. Through life-changing free legal help and policy work built on three decades of expertise, Her Justice improves outcomes for women like our clients in court, Shifting The Power to offer new beginnings for women and families. Our goal is to raise $1,000,000 by December 31, 2024 and we have already made significant progress toward that goal.

When we reach our goal of $1,00,000, this will provide $8,000,000 of legal services to the clients of Her Justice free of charge. Free stellar representation is a life changing and empowering experience for these women. The pointed legal guidance and support they receive helps them to navigate a complicated legal system.

For over 30 years, Her Justice has advocated alongside women living in poverty. Their clients – 90% of whom are women of color, 80% of whom are survivors of intimate partner violence, and 70% of whom are mothers – must navigate the civil justice system to access basic rights. Her Justice stands with them as they seek safety, stability, and self-sufficiency through New York’s civil justice system.

My personal goal is to raise over $5,000 by December 31st in support of Her Justice. I hope you’ll join me in supporting this great organization and the thousands of women and children they serve.
