I am pleased to join this wonderful charity Ostomy Canada / Calgary and assist in raising funds to help people and their families with an ostomy (a HOLE in our ABDOMEN). This life changing event and dallying living with an illostimy has had an overwhelming impact on my life (YES - I am still alive). Ostomy society members has had a major positive supportive benefit in my life from the start (a scary and bewildering time) waking up in a hospital bed with a bag attached to my side to the humorous, painful, and challenges of daily living with an ostomy.

The 10th Step Up for Ostomy Campaign is on September 23, 2023, join us in cities, towns, parks, trails, and venues across Canada to show your support for those living with an ostomy and their friends and family. Let's all Step Up for Ostomy and make a difference - together we can raise awareness, eliminate stigma, and raise funds to help enhance Ostomy Canada Programs!
