Story

This is my second year raising funds for the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research. It is my goal to attend college and then follow that by entering a Doctorate in Physical Therapy program. In my internships and summer studies, I learned FPTR relies on donors to create a pipeline for future researchers and sow the seeds for new research to come. Like many nonprofits, the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) has been affected by the current market volatility and economic disruptions. FPTR is acting to ensure the strength of the organization but without additional support, they can't move forward.

Physical therapy improves quality of life, health, and movement of people young and old. Research makes the profession of physical therapy stronger by providing data to help professionals deliver the best possible care and developing innovative treatments and approaches.

By purchasing a ticket, attending the event or making a donation, you can assure I can help make a difference in my field in the years to come.

Thank you,

Evan Hartigan
