Hi all! This winter, from now until February 21st, I'm helping fundraise for Camp Anokijig's (Anna-Kee-Jee's) Scholarship Fund. This fund directly supports and enables kids and their families wanting to come to Camp who may not be able to financially. Every kid who wants to should be able to experience the wondrous joy Camp so effortlessly produces.

Each of you has probably heard me blab all about Camp in some way or another, but the place and its people are genuinely some of the most important to me. Camp was essentially what I relied on the most as my mom underwent treatment for her cancer for the final time, and was one of the few places that could provide me solace from the summer to the fall months. Seeing "my" horse Zeke (and even forming that bond in the first place), sitting by the waterfront, and being surrounded by Camp family was incredibly comforting for me. I can honestly say I don't know what I would have done without it.

Camp is such an amazing place. I have enjoyed it for nearly the past decade, and others should be able to do so, too, devoid of financial barriers. It's where I found confidence, friends, a new home, and my passion—now what I'll be studying in college—equine (horse/large animal) medicine/veterinary.

All that being said, I would so greatly appreciate it if you would consider helping me give back to Camp, and allow other kids a chance to also find themselves and new passions at this truly fantastic place. No matter the amount, anything is appreciated.
