Story
Since 2014, my kids and I have been volunteering with Family Promise Metrowest, and it’s become one of the most meaningful traditions in our lives. What started as a way to give back has grown into a reminder—year after year—of how deeply important the idea of “home” is for every family.
As a parent, I’ve seen firsthand how much children need the safety, stability, and love that home provides. It’s where they grow, where they rest, where they’re truly themselves. When families experience homelessness, it isn’t just about losing shelter—it’s about losing that sense of grounding. The stress and uncertainty can be overwhelming, especially for kids.
In today’s world, with rising costs and mounting pressures, the risk of losing that sense of home is greater than ever for so many. That’s why Family Promise’s work resonates with me so deeply. They don’t just offer shelter—they offer support, dignity, and a path forward. Please consider supporting Family Promise Metrowest. Every contribution brings a family one step closer to the safety and hope we all deserve.
