Why I’m fundraising:

My journey with Camp Menogyn began when I was 12 years old, heading out on my very first wilderness trip. That first adventure turned into five incredible years as a camper and another four as a staff member. Menogyn has taken me to places I never imagined and it’s shaped who I am today.

This camp has given me, my family, and countless others opportunities that changed our lives. We learned resilience, leadership, and how to find strength in community. The lessons I've learned and lifelong friendships I formed at Menogyn have helped me through life’s challenges, and I’m so grateful to now have the chance to help lead this amazing place forward.

About Camp Menogyn:

At YMCA Camp Menogyn, we believe every young person deserves the chance to discover themselves through wilderness adventure. Nestled at the edge of the Boundary Waters, Menogyn offers transformative canoeing and backpacking expeditions that build confidence, leadership, and belonging.

In 2025, we provided over $120,000 in scholarships so no camper was turned away for financial reasons. With community support, we also supplied essential gear and training for our seasonal staff who make these experiences safe, inclusive, and life-changing.
