Story
My name is Frank, I’m 38 years old, and I’m fundraising for the Family & Children's Association to earn my bib for the 2026 New York City Marathon—which will be my first marathon ever.
Growing up, sports and running were always a big part of my life, but over time that passion took a bit of a backseat. Running the NYC Marathon has always been a bucket list goal, so when I had the chance to pursue it while supporting Team FCA’s mission to protect and uplift Long Island’s most vulnerable children, families, and seniors, it felt like the perfect opportunity.
When I’m not training, you’ll usually find me enjoying summer on Long Island with my signifcant other, Courtney—boating on the Great South Bay, playing golf, going to sporting events, attending a good concert or updating my hat collection. I’m also a proud dog dad to two adopted pups: Bowie, my 14-year-old Chihuahua with a personality a lot like mine (a little grumpy), and Cappuccino, my energetic 2-year-old PomChi.
I’m excited to take on this challenge, prove to myself that I can go the distance, and hopefully celebrate at the finish line with a cold one. Please help me raise money for this amazing non-sectarian, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to providing help and hope to the most vulnerable, in the place I love and call home, Long Island.
