Hi! Our names are Chris, Keiran, Will, Geoffrey and Christopher! We are 8th graders completing a civic action & engagement project for Groton Dunstable Regional Middle School.

"GD supports the CMC" is bringing awareness to our central Massachusetts children's medical center. UMass Memorial Health is our community's level 1 pediatric trauma center. It's a non-profit helping kids with different kinds of illness including cancer, diabetes, mental health, injuries and so much more.

First, we learned about this hospital by interviewing a child life specialist who works in pediatrics. We learned about how play can help kids feel better and how we could help.

Then, we chose to volunteer our time to organize donations and assemble over 100 small craft kits for pediatric patients to enjoy when they're stuck in the hospital this summer.

Now, we're asking for your to help us keep our work going and make our project even more successful.
