Story
This is the first-ever Willows Academy Mexico Service Project!
My name is Giovanna Zanjacomo and I am one of eight graduating seniors blessed with the amazing opportunity to travel to Chalco, Mexico, and serve at Girlstown.
Girlstown is a Catholic boarding school that provides free, live-in education and care. It is a safe haven for thousands of girls rescued from extreme poverty and human trafficking by the Sisters of Mary.
During my stay, I will teach English, pray, attend Mass, play, listen, and share love with children who have so little — yet give so much.
My Goal: $3,835
Your support will make three powerful things possible:
- $1,500 will fully sponsor one child for an entire year — providing food, shelter, clothing, education, and loving care 365 days a year
- $1,050 will cover the cost of my travel so I can serve in person
-$1,285 will cover my airfare to and from Mexico City
If I raise more than my minimum goal, I will sponsor additional children — because every $1,500 literally transforms a life!
Our goal is $40,000—with a $15,000 donation going directly to Girlstown and the rest helping our volunteers make the trip possible.
Your support will make this incredible service experience—and a lasting impact—possible. Thank you!
