Story
This October, I will be running the Chicago Marathon as a proud two-time breast cancer survivor. Every step I take will be in honor of those who have faced breast cancer, those currently fighting, and those we carry in our hearts.
I am taking the Pink Pledge and raising funds for the Norma Pfriem Breast Center, part of Smilow Cancer Hospital. 100% of all funds raised with go directly to their patients and programs. They provide extraordinary and compassionate care to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
I’d love for you to be part of this experience. Every donation, no matter the size, helps support the important work of the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Center and is deeply appreciated. You may choose to make a general donation, or you can make your gift even more meaningful by dedicating it in honor or memory of someone whose life has been touched by breast cancer.
As a special tribute, I will wear your loved one’s name on the back of my marathon shirt as I run through the streets of Chicago, carrying their memory with me every step of the 26.2 miles.
Whether you choose to donate, share this post, or simply cheer me on, your support means the world to me.
Thank you for helping me turn my survivorship into something bigger—raising awareness, honoring loved ones, and supporting the incredible work of the Norma F. Pfriem Breast Center.
