Story
I decided to run the Chicago Marathon this year in support of the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana, a cause that means a lot to me.
Girl Scouts played an important role in my life, and I’ve seen firsthand how powerful it can be for girls to have access to strong mentors, leadership opportunities, and a supportive community. Running 26.2 miles is well outside my comfort zone, but it feels meaningful to take on something hard in order to support something that matters.
I’ve committed to raising $2,200 for Girl Scouts, and every donation helps fund programs that build confidence, independence, and leadership skills for girls across our community. Whether you’re able to donate or simply cheer me on along the way, I’m incredibly grateful!
Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
