In 2018 our daughter Faith suffered a very traumatic brain injury after a failed heart surgery caused her heart to stop for about 47 minutes. Because of this our entire world was flipped upside down. Faith spent 426 days in hospital. At the time we were living in Kingston and having to travel back and forth to Ottawa. This was extremely stressful and extremely expensive so Ronald McDonald House Ottawa reached out And gave us a place to stay for over 5 months until Faith was ready to be transferred back to Kingston.

For this time the house was our home.

We will be forever grateful.
