Story
This year will mark 11 years since my dad took his own life after fighting a long battle of mental health. Because of this, I have decided to raise money, alongside taking part in the London Marathon, for the leading mental health charity in England and Wales, Mind (The National Association for Mental Health), to help many others with their mental health battles, and to help the prevention of suicide🫶🏼
My journey with training for this so far has been very up and down but I have slowly fallen in love with running and i can’t wait to keep challenging myself physically and mentally. I have been into strength training and other sports previously but running long distances has never been something I enjoyed. Now, all I think about is running and has somehow made me look at life so differently, especially with experiencing a variety of injuries along the way! So I’m so happy to be starting off strong with contributing to help such a strong battle that many men and women go through daily🩵
If you are able to donate anything, or even share this post to raise awareness and support, it would mean a lot to me🩵
