HYROX Cardiff 2026 · 29 April 2026 to 4 May 2026 ·

HYROX is taking the fitness world by storm, and Macmillan are proud to be their exclusive charity partner! HYROX is a fitness race for everybody, no matter your fitness level.

Story

I’m taking on HYROX Cardiff to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, for a reason that’s very close to my heart.

Last summer, my dad was unexpectedly diagnosed with an incurable blood cancer. It completely changed everything for our family. He has always been someone who leads by example, hardworking, dedicated, and someone who has dedicated his life to making mine as easy as possible. He’s a huge part of the reason I am who I am today, why I am in the job I am, my love for fitness, my morals etc.

Since his diagnosis, he’s shown unbelievable resilience and strength, everyone who knows him can vouch on this! He’s gone through a stem cell transplant, intense chemo, setbacks, isolation, missed holidays, and had to stop working. It’s been incredibly tough for him, and hard for all of us around him too. Despite everything, he still keeps showing up, still training, and still pushing himself in a way that inspires me every single day.

Watching him fight with that level of determination is the reason I’ve decided to take on HYROX Cardiff. I wanted to challenge myself with something outside of my comfort zone, but more importantly, I wanted to do it for him. Every time the training gets tough, I just about the strength he’s shown throughout this journey.

Macmillan Cancer Support provides vital help to people and families going through cancer, offering emotional, physical, and financial support when it’s needed most. That’s why I want to raise as much as possible to give back and help others facing similar challenges.

Any donation, big or small, would mean the world to me and my family. Your support will help keep me pushing through the training and across the finish line.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for any support you can give.
