London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

The Brain Tumour Charity's London Marathon team are raring to go and ready to run towards a better future for everyone diagnosed with a brain tumour. We can't wait to take on the 26.2 mile course through the streets of London on Sunday 21 April 2024.

Story

In March 2022, my brother Charlie was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This came completely out of the blue for all of us. Since then Charlie has had one awake biopsy operation and one awake full craniotomy surgery to remove part of the tumour. He has finished his radiotherapy round and is currently progressing through his year-long round of chemotherapy!

As a little sister, there is nothing more I want than wanting to take all of this away from him. However, only so much is in my power. So, I've decided to run the London Marathon (2024) to try and raise as much money as possible. Therefore, I am raising money for the Brain Tumour Charity to aid the funding for research in the hope that one day no one will have to face what Charlie is!

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we're moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour.

Absolutely anything would help this process! (Running is not my forte so even if you want to see me suffer then this would be a great cause!)
