You’re A Mean One, Mr. TINch

At first glance, this green grump may look like he’s plotting to steal Christmas, but our Grinch-inspired sculpture tells a different story. Built entirely from donated food cans, our sculpture transforms a character known for taking into one that gives back. Just like the Grinch discovered that “Christmas doesn’t come from a store,” this display reminds us that the true spirit of the season comes from kindness, community, and helping neighbors in need. With every can carefully stacked to create his iconic grin, this sculpture proves that even the smallest acts of generosity can make hearts grow three sizes- and help fill our local food pantry shelves.

CANstruction Dallas, an annual design and build event of giant canned food structures benefitting the North Texas Food Bank, begins Saturday, August 29, 2026!
