As many of you know, I've adamantly sworn off running for as long as I could but the tides have turned! For the past 2.5 years as a fundraiser for Summer Search, I have encouraged friends, students, Associate Board members, etc. to run on behalf of the incredible organization I work for and turned a blind eye to ever running it myself.

A large part of what we do at Summer Search is encourage students to push themselves and take risks so I decided to finally practice what I preach and sign up for the NYC Half Marathon! I'd be so appreciative of your support as I teach myself to go from 1 to 13.1 and cross the finish line (at some point) on March 17th. Any amount that you can give in support of Summer Search's staff, students, and families is incredibly, incredibly appreciated! And, of course, please feel free to come cheer me on or wipe my tears on race day :)
