Spinal Injury Association Accessible Adventure Challenge, an adrenaline fuelled 90ft viaduct abseil and a calming 1 mile canoe through the beautiful Peak District National Park. · 19 September 2025

NEW FOR 2025! … introducing our brand new accessible adventure challenge event, featuring an adrenaline fuelled 90ft viaduct abseil and a calming 1 mile canoe through the beautiful Peak District National Park.

Story

I will be abseiling 90ft over Millers viaduct bridge and canoeing for 1 mile to help support the work of SIA .

Why I'm Fundraising:

Imagine waking up one day and realising you’ll never walk again. For thousands of people living with spinal cord injuries, this is their reality. Simple tasks we often take for granted—getting dressed, making a cup of tea, or even hugging a loved one—become monumental challenges.

This happened to me on 8th December 2023

Since then my life and the life of my family was changed forever. It's forced me and my wife to give up our jobs, move house and relearn how to live life now I've got a spinal injury.

By supporting Spinal Injuries Association, you’re helping us provide life-changing services, from expert advice and peer support to campaigning for better care and opportunities. You’re giving people their independence back.

Thank you
