I am running to support BRC, a nonprofit that has served New Yorkers experiencing homelessness, mental illness, and addiction for over 50 years. I volunteer weekly at BRC's mental health and addiction shelter, and the people I've met there — kind, resilient, and navigating some of life's hardest moments — are exactly why this work matters.
