Story
3rd September 2023 the 23/24 Clipper Round the World Yacht Race departs from Portsmouth. I’ll be on half of the voyage, sailing 21000 miles before alighting in North Australia early 2024.
UNICEF is the Charity Partner for The Clipper 2023-24 Round the World Yacht Race and I'm proud to be raising money to support their vital work for children. There are 11 70 foot Clipper’s taking apart and I’m on CV23 sailing with Team Ineke with a crew of around 20.
21000 miles I find amazing to comprehend!
If I could raise 10p for every mile sailed that would get me to my target of £2100! As I enjoy running, walking, cycling & have plenty of friends, family & acquaintances who do too, how about we raise A SMILE A MILE, by donating each time you clock up your mileage & at the same time tell us where you’ve been?? Lets see if the land miles keep up with the seas mile over my journey?! Every mile counts, everybody is different & whether it’s a mile or a 100, every step counts & any donation per mile would be greatly appreciated. Knowing what you have all been upto & where you've been will keep me going on our long journey too!!

& more on UNICEF....
UNICEF ensures more of the world's children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. In 190 countries and territories UNICEF works to save children's lives, to defend their rights, and to help them fulfil their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.
Every donation will help to build a better word for every child, every day, everywhere.
