I teach swimming at the YMCA in Boca Raton, FL because I've loved to swim all my life... and because of something most people don't know:

The leading cause of death in America for children under 4 is drowning ... and it's the second leading cause of death for children under 14.

But drowning IS preventable and we can end it!

By raising $2,500, the Boca YMCA will be able to provide drowning prevention scholarships to 25 children whose families cannot afford lessons. Just 8 drowning prevention classes can literally save a child's life!

100% of every dollar you give goes to drowning prevention scholarships taught by Boca YMCA instructors like me who care so deeply about ending this hidden epidemic. In the process, we also aim to pass along the joy of swimming!
