I am thrilled to share that I am running in the 2026 New York City Marathon as part of the NYRR Marathon X SCOPE campaign! This incredible initiative supports SCOPE, a national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and teens from under-resourced communities by providing access to overnight summer camps and college scholarships.

Camp has always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, camp shaped who I am today, and I was lucky enough to return as a staff member for many summers guiding kids, sharing experiences, and creating lifelong memories. Every child deserves that same opportunity, and SCOPE makes it possible. Joining SCOPE felt like a perfect fit: I get to combine my two passions running and camp to make a real difference.

SCOPE’s mission resonates deeply: every child deserves the chance to dream big and reach their full potential. Their campership program provides life changing camp experiences while encouraging children to stay in school, building a strong foundation for lifelong success. By leveling the playing field, SCOPE opens doors to Camp, Classroom, College, and Career opportunities.
