Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
In 1998, I sustained a serious spinal cord injury which left me paralysed from the chest down. I was only 19, and knew nothing about living with a disability. The Spinal Injuries Association (SIA) have been a great source of information, advice and support over the last 28 years, demonstrating that a fulfilled life is possible after spinal cord injury. As well as a recipient of support from the charity, I was also been fortunate enough to work for SIA for over a decade, witnessing first hand the incredible impact the charity have.
School friends from the age of 13, Jon and I are taking on an epic 350km bike ride over 3 days from Toulouse to Bordeaux to raise money for SIA. They rely on gifts and donations to fund their vital work and anything you can donate will go directly towards improving the lives of people affected by spinal cord injury.
