This year, I'll be running the NYC Marathon in support of Summer Search.

Summer Search is a national youth development organization. For 30 years, they have worked to bridge the educational opportunity gap faced by students from low-income backgrounds, particularly students of color. They do this by partnering with high schools and families in underserved communities to provide students with the resources to reach their highest potential. Through a unique combination of mentoring, experiential opportunities, college advising and support - Summer Search students strengthen the skills they need to thrive in school and in life. In the most segregated school system in the nation, this work proves essential.
