Dash and Jen are joining TEAM TILTH for this year's Oakland Running Festival, in support of Urban Tilth!

Urban Tilth is a fantastic, Richmond-based nonprofit that: that runs school gardens that serve predominantly Latino/a and African-American students (with nutrition, cooking and mindfulness components to the curriculum); has planted and maintains an edible forest; hosts 1000s volunteers each year on the Richmond Greenway; helped establish Unity Park; and is currently developing the North Richmond Farm, which grows food and hosts community, and will soon be complete with a community kitchen, a cafe and urban ag-related business training. (Oh, yeah, and I served on the board for 7 years!)
