Story

The Wenatchee Valley Humane Society offers dogs like Jester a second chance at a loving family. Jester came to the Humane Society as a stray, alone and unwanted. At the Humane Society, Jester was given shelter, food and access to medical care, and a second chance at a loving home. To keep his mind and body healthy while he waited for a forever home, volunteers took Jester out for walks along Chelan-Douglas Land Trust trails.

Dogs like Jester, and the people who love them, need exercise to keep them happy and healthy. That's why access to the trails that Chelan-Douglas Land Trust builds and maintains is so important. Getting outdoors provides significant health benefits for pets and their people, reducing stress, building resiliency, and creating shared experiences.
