I am proud to be one of 315 Jewish teens in CCC’s Leadership Development Program (LDP). Through LDP I am learning about the importance of helping people in need and the values that go along with it. In the LDP sessions we learn about the challenges that many of the participants in our program go through and how to support them through their challenges. We also learn about the skills associated with fundraising and how to raise money effectively for good causes in the community.

As part of my training on community fundraising I am raising funds online through this personal fundraiser.

This organization really means a lot to me because I believe Creating Connected Communities is an amazing cause. My mom started this organization when she was 13 because she was trying to correct some injustice she saw in the community. Because of that I have been lucky to participate in CCC essentially my entire life and I hope to continue doing so in order to bring more happiness and resources to more children and families.

• $30 pays for two holiday gifts for a child at Amy’s Holiday Party.

• $75 pays for meals for 10 kids who attend our outreach programs.

• $350 provides a scholarship for a teen like me for one year of the leadership program.
