For more than 40 years, Cancer Hope Network has been a source of help and hope for cancer patients, caregivers, and those who love them through meaningful connection with trained Peer Mentor volunteers who care because they’ve been there and have undergone a similar cancer journey. Each Peer Mentor is trained to create an atmosphere of safety and acceptance, to actively listen to the needs and concerns of their mentee, to share their own experiences surrounding cancer, and to ensure that every interaction is supportive and hopeful. Cancer Hope Network's Peer Mentors empower patients and their loved ones with hope. This cause is important to me because I have seen firsthand the impact that Cancer Hope Network has on those affected by cancer. The Love, Light & Hope Yoga Event is an opportunity for us to come together as a community to support this incredible organization.
