Story

Hi HI...

Another year, and yes, more marathon spam... However, this time is different. In just two months, I'll be running the Rome Marathon and then taking on the London Marathon one month later, leaving no room for anything to slip through the cracks. I'm committed to running at least one marathon every year until there's a cure for type 1

When I was 2 years old, the doctor told my Mum there would be a cure before I was 20.... I'm 25 and still waiting.

And yes, I do enjoy running but not discipline, this kind of distance and pressure...As always, running marathons with diabetes is a vastly different task, and running one abroad presents its own set of challenges. Nevertheless, I want to showcase to newly diagnosed diabetics that they can literally do anything

This year's run is dedicated to the mothership, JDRF, the leading force in funding and finding a cure for type 1. The significance of this charity in supporting children, teens, and adults living with type 1 cannot be overstated. Despite the massive improvements in technology, the welfare, emotional impact, and intensity of type 1 haven't diminished. Managing type 1 diabetes is a full-time job, and though I don't discuss it extensively, it's crucial to raise awareness.

Even if you can't donate, I encourage you to read a bit of information to become more informed about type 1.
