Hi everyone :)

Not only have I lost my lovely dad Victor to cancer in 2009 I have unfortunately lost two of my closest friends to this hideous disease.

Hannah Maxwell ( lister ) passed away on 22nd August 2024 after bravely losing her fight to bowel cancer.

My best friend Sarah Harris sadly passed away on 2nd May 2025 to breast cancer.

I have decided to run my 2nd half marathon with donations going to the wonderful MacMillan cancer charity.

I would really appreciate it if you could sponsor me x

Macmillan Cancer Support are hosting a parkrun takeover on 27 September 2025 and asking you to get involved!

Attend parkrun on the 27 September wearing something green and donate the cost of your pre or post parkrun coffee to help fund Macmillan’s vital work.

Some amazing parkruns will even be hosting their very own coffee morning events so keep an eye out for these.

Every penny raised will help Macmillan support the 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK.
