Hi all,

This September I'm taking on a massive challenge and raising funds for WWF because our world is under threat like never before. We're destroying forests, choking the oceans with plastic and causing devastating changes to the climate. In the time it takes to say deforestation, another chunk of the forest the size of a football pitch is destroyed. that's every two seconds, every day.

Together we can save our shared home.

My goal is to reach Everset Base Camp. We will have a 14 day trek starting at Lukla and ending at over 17500 ft above sea level at Everest Base Camp.

This is special for me because as an avid hiker Mt. Everest is the ultimate goal. To be able to even just get close to it with this opportunity is extremly exicting.

As someone who is studying Earth Sciences and loves nature, I believe that supporting and raising funds for WWF is exceedingly important as they work hard to protect so many endangered animals and habitats. All of the £4000 we are raising will go towards this great cause.
