Every day in the UK, 34 people are diagnosed with a brain tumour, yet changes in survival rates have barely improved in 40 years compared with other cancers, investment in research is low and diagnosis is still taking much too long.

The Brain Tumour Charity is a British charity dedicated to funding research, raising awareness of brain tumours, reducing diagnosis times and providing support and information for people with brain tumours, their families and friends.

This year I will be running with a team from the Cargocare Group in memory of Rudi Damhuis and Graham Piner who both sadly lost their fight with a brain tumour too young.
