YPAC have been running youth and play work in Miles Platting and Collyhurst for a while. each year we work with around 600 young people running fun clubs, giving places for people to go and trusted adults for young people to talk to.

In talking about fundraising, some young people said they would like to parachute and 5 young people who have worked with us said they wanted to jump out of a plane to raise funds and contribute to continuing our work.

These young people have done a lot with us, organising and delivering community events, writing a knife crime resource being used nationally, setting up a social enterprise, becoming peer playworkers on our Wednesday sessions, and developing into really great adults. They wanted to give something back to YPAC, and a 10,000 ft drop was the only thing we would accept as reasonable.
