I am running in the Tamarack Ottawa Race to honour my son, Zachary, who was diagnosed with leukemia at the young age of 7 years old and who ultimately passed from radiation induced glioma at the age of 14. By raising money for Childhood Cancer Canada, the hope is to create victories for Canadian children with cancer through investment in national, collaborative, lifesaving research, empowering education, and community programs.
