2025 Women Build Fundraiser

Kandis Larsen is raising money for Habitat for Humanity-Spokane

Women Build Fall 2025 · 8 October 2025 to 11 October 2025 ·

Women Build events empower women to address the critical need for gender equity in affordable homeownership. By breaking down stereotypes, volunteers come together from all walks of life to build stronger, safer communities in Spokane County.

Story

I’m honored to be part of Habitat for Humanity–Spokane’s semiannual Women Build 2025—and proud to serve on the Women Build Steering Committee since 2023.

This initiative is deeply personal to me. When I was growing up, my family faced challenges with housing stability. My mom worked incredibly hard to keep a roof over our heads, and I know firsthand how much a safe, affordable home can mean to a family. It’s not just about shelter—it’s about security, dignity, and the chance to build a better future.

Women Build brings together people from all walks of life to raise walls, break down barriers in housing, and empower families. By donating or volunteering, we’re not just constructing houses—we’re creating stronger communities and brighter futures. Every contribution brings stability, strength, and hope to families in Spokane—one home, one family, one future at a time.

Join us in making homeownership possible for more women and families—every gift makes a difference.
